Hi all,

I need to know step by step procedure to configure and to test a dns server on redhatlinux 7.2.

There's some theory about DNS in general and even some example zones included in that HOWTO. It should give you the information you need to get started on your own zone.

With this url i am not clear to setup a mailserver. give one practical example

You asked about DNS, not a mail server. Please go to www.linuxdoc.org and find the HOWTO for a mailserver.
