Help Please!
Hi
First of I got i red hat linux 7.0 running on my computer, when i reboot its says Starting System Logger (failed) and then the loggin window shows up , is anything wrong with it...any sugestion? Second of all i have att broadband and network card (Netgear 311) and i want to connect to internet through linux how do i do it.. ? Best regards. |

Check /var/log/messages for more information regarding the error.
Asuumiung your network card is properly detected at startup, getting on the net is usually as easy as running a proper DHCP client. I recommend 'dhcpcd'. I do not recommend using 'pump' if you can avoid it. More info on dhcpcd here: http://www.phystech.com/download/dhcpcd.html |
