find a file
i am looking for a certain file called 'Class3a.gif' on my machine. i have no clue where it is or what directory it is in. what is the command to search my entire machine, including every folder, for that certain file?

If you're not doing this as root - then might pay to pipe std error to null so you don't get pages of permissions denied.
