mrtg+snmpd count traffic
i just wonder how to count total traffic and traffic on specified ports (e.g. 192.168.0.1:139 and etc.. ). How can it be done?
(FreeBSD 6.2 i386)

I'm not sure if you can listen on many ports and count the traffic, I don't have mrtg available ATM, but you can look at the mrtg.conf file, or take a look at this page, HTH.

i actually know the mrtg.cfg consist of, the thing i cant understand is how to query snmpd to get info on how much traffic were on some ip port number, and can't find it in documentation yet. Is it possible with snmp at all?

I think no, I just looked at the docs, but couldn't find anything, I will be happy to see a solution on this, I may run into the same question really soon.
