Mail command
Hi,
I'm using the following command to send a mail from a Solaris server: /usr/bin/uuencode /u01/oracle/dp_status_PR1.log dp_status_PR1.log | /usr/bin/mailx -s "PRONEITF export status " neil.patel@cns-inc.com The contents of the file are: Export: Release 10.2.0.3.0 - 64bit Production on Thursday, 30 August, 2007 23:01:00 Job "PRONEITFDBA"."EXPDP_NODATA" successfully completed at 23:26:07 Export: Release 10.2.0.3.0 - 64bit Production on Thursday, 30 August, 2007 23:26:09 Job "PRONEITFDBA"."EXPDP_INTGAPP_DAILY" successfully completed at 23:34:31 Export: Release 10.2.0.3.0 - 64bit Production on Thursday, 30 August, 2007 23:34:34 Job "PRONEITFDBA"."EXPDP_INTGRECLM_DAILY" successfully completed at 23:35:04 Export: Release 10.2.0.3.0 - 64bit Production on Thursday, 30 August, 2007 23:35:06 Job "PRONEITFDBA"."EXPDP_INTGREMCO_DAILY" successfully completed at 23:35:35 Export: Release 10.2.0.3.0 - 64bit Production on Thursday, 30 August, 2007 23:35:39 Job "PRONEITFDBA"."EXPDP_INTGREPRVDR_DAILY" successfully completed at 23:36:08 Export: Release 10.2.0.3.0 - 64bit Production on Thursday, 30 August, 2007 23:36:10 Job "PRONEITFDBA"."EXPDP_INTGREPA_DAILY" successfully completed at 23:36:39 Export: Release 10.2.0.3.0 - 64bit Production on Thursday, 30 August, 2007 23:36:41 Job "PRONEITFDBA"."EXPDP_INTGINTFSTG_DAILY" successfully completed at 23:37:36 ...but when I get the attached file and open it, it seems to concatenate all the above lines. Is there a way that the above entries be emailed as a message, rather than an attachment? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks. |
