Hello, sorry to bug again....a friend of mine who works for a software company asked the network guy there .....I want to install Linux 7.2 on my windows 2000 box....Mr. Network said that I should have installed linux first then 2k.....does it really make a difference which operating system is installed first....I dont know alot about either one...but I want to learn....Please be gentle on me....

Actually install 2000 first

I'm running windows and Linux on a dual boot solution myself. I personally think it's easier to install windows first then Linux. Just make two partitions when you're in the windows2000 setup. Make sure the Linux partition is about 2 gigs in size. Linux is going to partition the partition again, this time with three, SWAP, ROOT and BOOT.
