Lightbulb Dos system Connectivity

I am having novell netware and unix servers. I use diskless system to connect to novell netware. Can I know how to enable these diskless systems which boots through dos to connect unix via telnet. I heard there is some software to do it. Anybody knows?

I don't quite understand...
You want to boot the diskless machines into DOS, then open a telnet session to a Unix server?

Why not just boot the diskless clients into a Unix environment?

Diskless system to unix

No, I use both Novell and Unix. Normally I work with Novell and if needed I have to use Unix via telnet. And if i quit from telnet I should be in Dos-Novell environment.

It's been so darn long since I even turned on a pure DOS machine, I am not sure if the "telnet" utility is installed by default. If so, would it work to put :
telnet unix_server

at the bottom of the autoexec.bat scipt, or something similar?
Then, when you boot up, it will bring you directly into an interactive telnet sessions, but when you quit, it'll drop you back to DOS.

Am I making sense, or am I off my rocker?
