help! where to find HP-UX?

I need to install HP-UX 11.0 but it is very hard to find it. I've already searched ASPLinux,Linux Mandrake but HP is stiil not reachable. The task is to write client/server application. I want to find out what the difference between Linux Mandrake 7.0(or other free OS) and HP-UX.

I don't believe HP allows software downloads of the OS. Look on www.hp.com for further info (My HP-UX Guru says you have to have a user id for Contract support before you can download the OS software - too bad!!!)

vasiavv,
Im sure even thogh there is a way for you to download HP-UX, you will also face someother problems. Such as Network bandwidth, the file size Etc.
I suggest you purchase the CD. That should be more better.

Heck, even purchasing it can set you back a few hundred dollars - I think nearly $500 US.

Sometimes people will sell their old media on eBay... I have some it there sometimes for under $100 US.

Good luck.
