Thank you so much for taking the time to post a follow-up. I am going to install these tools. I'm feeling a little 'strange' for not knowing about them before!! I greatly appreciate your efforts and am sure others will find great value in these tools in case of an emergency!

Right On, Living Free. Thanks for pointers to your posts. Sorry I missed them. Thanks for being such a great contributor to the UNIX forums. I wish I had time to read every post and thread.... and to think we are almost up to 10,000 registered users!!

if you are using Digital Unix or Tru64 Unix, you can undelete files.
