Transfer the file

Dear all,

Can anybody let me know how to automate a file transfer process to a remote m/c thru SFTP , automate means it will not prmpt for password.

how i am going to achive this....and what all methods are available or tools are available ????

look at public/private keys

The public key goes in the server's
Code:
~/.ssh/authorized_keys
the client passes the private key in as a command line argument.

Thanx a lot...

Can you please more elaborate on this [private and public key]with example i.e. genarting these key, where sud i get and which one sud i keep in host and server for match and how my pogramme will communicate with this with out the password , so that it will easy for me to do the same .
