How to retrieve a particular line from a file

Hi,

I want to retrieve a particular line from a file and print its content to a file. Can you suggest how to do it in UNIX ?.

I am assuming you have the line number:

Code:

sed -n 'Xp' input_file

Where 'X' is the line number.
