I have been running 5.0.02 for more than 10 years in its present configuration. I am running a business software package on it (text based).
I am trying to use my windows machines to access it through a program like "reflections" so that I can run my software from different systems but I get the error "TCP/IP not licensed". License manger shows: licensed registered open server desktop NO NO openserver HOST YES NO custom license NO NO Can anyone help? I thought TCP/IP was already included? Should I remove TCP/IP? Should I go back to 5.0.0 which did not have error but did not have internet access? Does anyone have a license for version 5.0.2 or higher that they want to get rid of or sell? Can go as high as version 5.0.5 (which I'm told that my software will run on) Thanks Parkegio (novice) Last edited by Parkegio; 06-10-2007 at 09:01 PM. |

I'm not really sure, there are people in this forum running SCO, they may have suggestions. In the meantime, check this SCO link if it helps somehow.

You have Openserver Host installed, not Enterprise.
Host only contains support for serial attached terminals. You have to upgrade to Enterprise. You will have to do a fresh install, doing an in place update from host to enterprise, is not usually successful. Send me an email if you still need Enterprise licensing. |
