I Have a computer with Windows 95 on it, it's 75 mhz and has enough space for another OS. I want to install Linux(Red Hat 7.2) on the system. I want it to start Linux when I turn it on. Where can I download it. I have a cd burner on this computer and cable internet. Where can I download the Linux 7.2 and how do I install it on my other computer?confused: Thanks, Daniel

Well, to start learning / using Linux, you'll need to learn how to read a lot. You can start here:
http://www.unix.com/where-do-i-download-linux-unix/ Also, compute responsibly! Learn about the network services you're running (and how to keep them secure or shut them off) BEFORE you attach the Linux box to the Internet - Cable modem users are a favorite target for would-be crackers. Have fun, and be safe! |
