Hi all,
Which is shell of unix?

Basically, the shell is the interface with the operating system. The shell allows you to issue commands and interact with the system. There are several shells: ksh, bash, csh are the most popular. Each one has its own features which make them different from the others.

just search for unix or shell+unix in google...u'll get tons of material on anything from shell to whatever u need

The shell is a special program used as an interface between the user and the heart of the UNIX operating system, a program called the kernel..

It is a utility program that starts up when you log on. It allows user to interact with the kernel by interpreting commands that are typed either at the command line or in a script file.
