Question Urgent !!

Hello,
New to forum, any help is appreciated.

I have applied to a job with following requirement ::

- Good Shell scripting experience including perl.
- Extract data using unix shell scripts.
- Be able to export data using unix shell scripts into Microsoft Excel format.

But the problem is I have no idea of scripting. Please help me to get the script for same. Also is there any software which take cares of scripting and provides users a GUI to extract data and then exporting it.

Thank you.

If you have no skills scripting, you can't learn it over night. There is too much to learn. And I do not know of a program or GUI that takes care of it for you.

If there was a program/GUI out there, wouldn't that almost eliminate the need for that position?

Good luck.
