Hanging commands
Hello,
I just tried to run this command: /usr/lib/sendmail -d0.1 -bt < /dev/null | grep -i version Its doing what I want: writing out the sendmail version. But on some machines it writing the version and then exit to the prompt but on others its writing the version but then hangs, I need to break it with CTRL-C. Can I break the this command with another shell command? Or sen CTRL-C with a command? Im writing a script searching (with ssh) through 120 Sun mashines, dont want to have to log on every machine and look. /jocke |
