installable packages on AIX
Hi group,
Like RedHat has rpms, Solaris has pkgs, Hp has depots, what are the installables for aix. regards, Guru Charan kottur |

There are a few. AIX uses by default the IBM package .bff to install. But with AIX5L (L for Linux affinity) you can also install RPMS. Pls note that since AIX only runs on Power architecture the RPMS must be compiled for ppc for them to run.
