Hi ,
I am using a laptop with windows XP as the operating system. i want to use linux/unix without installing it on my machine. I heard that i can do so using some Linux bootable CD .... which can be used to work on linux environment with out physically installing it on your system. I am not aware how to get details on the same. Can Some one help me out by providing the necessary details so that i can also learn and Practice shell scripting ... Thanks in Advance |

Linux Bootable CD's
There are many live distributions that you can use. There simple to use just put them into your CD_ROM drive and boot your computer. They are also great for browsing online as nothing is stored on your computer. Good luck with your shell scripting
