Is there something weird about Unix and starting up from an ext. volume? myuser$ cd "/Firewire 400/users/myuser/new Files/" -bash: cd: /Firewire 400/users/myuser/new Files/: No such file or directory myuser$ "Firewire 400/users/myuser/new Files/" -bash: Firewire 400/users/myuser/new Files/: No such file or directory myuser$ cd "Firewire 400/users/myuser/new Files/" -bash: cd: Firewire 400/users/myuser/new Files/: No such file or directory myuser$ cd /Firewire\ 400/users/myuser/new\ Files/ -bash: cd: /Firewire 400/users/myuser/new Files/: No such file or directory myuser$ cd Firewire\ 400/users/myuser/new\ Files/ -bash: cd: Firewire 400/users/myuser/new Files/: No such file or directory myuser$ cd "/firewire 400" -bash: cd: /firewire 400: No such file or directory |
