Unix "at" / "Cron" Command New Problem...Need help
Hi All,
I am trying to schedule a one time job using the at command with the help of shell script for my project. The shell script should take a parameter as a command line argument from the at command itself. Is it possible to take a command line parameter for a shell script in the command line or else what is the probable solution to acheive it. Example i tried .. $ at -f schedule.sh userid 05:30 The userid is the input parameter for the shell script schedule.sh. Please help us. |

(Added after seeing poster remarks) (4) Do not 'bump up' questions if they are not answered promptly. No duplicate or cross-posting and do not report a post where your goal is to get an answer more quickly. (5) Search the forums database with your keywords before asking. I had to delete three identical posts from three different forums but I never mentioned homework. And if you are in such a hurry, try paying for support. Last edited by RTM; 01-26-2006 at 06:14 PM. |
