O S flavours ...which is which
Does anyone know how to find out what flavour of Unix "Data General" is closest too.. heres what I need to do, I need to install one of the available free flavours on my Intel Pc at home, So as I can transfer all my shell scripts over without the need for re-working them...but I have no idea how to find out...I heard of people talking about porting from one to another, but I really don't think I'd be very good at that, unless there was specific instructions somewhere I would probably mess things up, so basically I just want to install a free and then ftp over the scripts from Data General -unix to what ever is the closest match...
