What is the best way?

[B]What is the best way to prevent spywares or other spy programs from entering or hacking in your system?

And is it possible to mix two firewall programs in one computer?

Thanks for the help...

I don't know of any unix systems that are infected by spyware, but if you're talking about Windows, then Microsoft has an anti-spyware program that you can download for free.

Why would you want 2 firewalls running on your computer?

yes, you can have 2 firewall programs running in your windows box at the same time if you wanted to ...

dis/advantages --- depends on whether you update regularly them or not ...
if you don't --- they eventually become useless as newer malware will eventually be created to work around their defenses ...
if you do --- there would be too much overlap that you'll only be wasting your money ...

depends on how tight you set your restrictions on your firewall programs ... but you need to try them and find out for yourself ... good luck!
