Does anyone have detailed info on how to download the files. I go to www.freebsd.com and then i dont know what to do. I dont know why i dont know but im drawing a complete blank so is there anyone that can provide a step by step procedure for downloading/installing Linux?

Note that FreeBSD is UNIX, Linux is not. Although Linux does look, act, and taste like UNIX :-). But there are subtle differences that you need to be aware of.
For example, on my Linux machine, /bin/sh is exactly the bash shell. On my Solaris box, /bin/sh is the Bourne shell. Although Solaris is not FreeBSD, it's another UNIX, and it's an example of a subtle variation between Linux and UNIX. -Mike |
