Screen windows changing colours

Hi all,

Ocassional on one of my systems the screen windows, command window, terminal window or a graphics window, will switch between red and black when the mouse is moved between the window and desktop. I end up having to logout and log back in to cure this fault.

Does anyone have a cure for this fault?

Thanks

What is the OS and version? What 'windows' are you using ? (example CDE, Gnome,...)

When I log into system remotely, it tells me that the system is SunOS 4.1.4 (HME), does this help?

It does not do the changing of the colour very often, but when it does, the only cure seems to be to log out and re log back in. But this then puts the system down for about 20 minutes. Which is Production time.

MANY THANKS
