Hi all,

I new to scripting and i need to know how to put the script when the capture goes down in the feeds database.. I tried with this "ps -ef | grep asn" command and it displaying the capture,apply time. But the alert we are receving now is replication is failed . So i need to develop the script to check when the capture goes down and set in the cron. So that when the capture is not processing and we have to get the alert.

Some one can help me in this..

Second, please explain your problem in a way others have the chance to understand what you want to achieve. After reading your description i have absolutely no idea what you are talking about and i am probably not the slowest here. Transferred to its own thread.

Additionally this has nothing to do with AIX - moving thread.
