"ap" command not dumping user profiles
System = SCO UnixWare 7.1.1
Using the following command... ap -dgv > users.ap ... I should be able to dump all 250 user profiles to the file "users.ap" and display the results for each account as it is added to the file. The problem is that I only get the following output: UX:ap: INFO: Account profile dumped for root UX:ap: INFO: Account profile dumped for daemon UX:ap: INFO: Account profile dumped for bin UX:ap: INFO: Account profile dumped for sys UX:ap: INFO: Account profile dumped for adm UX:ap: INFO: Account profile dumped for uucp UX:ap: INFO: Account profile dumped for mail UX:ap: INFO: Account profile dumped for nuucp UX:ap: INFO: Account profile dumped for nobody UX:ap: INFO: Account profile dumped for noaccess UX:ap: INFO: Account profile dumped for lp UX:ap: INFO: Account profile dumped for listen UX:ap: INFO: Account profile dumped for mhsmail UX:ap: INFO: Account profile dumped for admin UX:ap: INFO: Account profile dumped for ftp ...and then it just hangs there. Only the results for the system accounts is displayed and I have 250 normal user accounts in /usr and /home and none of their profiles are being dumped to "users.ap". Any ideas? |
