Angry Dum-dum has problems DLing Linux

I've been trying to find a site that will let me DL linux fo the last 2 hours... the problem is I always get the directory sites... I know I sound like a moron, but I need help... anyone who can let me know step by step what to do or what version I should use? The computer this is intended for is a Contura 3.20. 4 Megs of RAM. No CD-rom drive at all. Only the 3.5 floppy drive... help please!

small linux's

try to look on http://www.linux.com/interact/links/...Distributions/
there are many distributions.
if you want to find a version you can install the way you wan tyou need to find a tar.gz file. But then you have to look by very small linux's. most linux do have evaluation cd's (not with a time limit just very little apps on it (ofcourse you can download the others and install them).
ftp://ftp-linux.cc.gatech.edu/pub/li...2.1.0.lite.zip I guess you where looking for something like this.
