awk
okay, I am really having trouble with awk, I can't get it to do what I want. Can I make awk look in a folder, and open a file, in this file there are four fields but I only want to load two of them into my table using sql*loader, how do I strip those extra fields? Also, I was having trouble before with awk error: can't open (filename) are there something that needs to be set for awk to access it?
