Powerbroker policy file advice needed
I have a requirement to be able to issue selected commands with root privileges but don't have the ability to su to root due to audit requirements dictating that only our UNIX SA's have that feature.
I was told that Powerbroker would allow me to run the commands as root but our security people don't seem to be able to configure it such that it works. I need to be able to issue the following as root /usr/lpp/bin/cicscp -v start region cics1 It seems to be the parameters following the command that give our security people the problems. Do any of you UNIX experts know if it would be possible to configure Powerbroker to run the command with parameters as shown above ? |
