Question Help with ls command

I'm using bash shell. Im currently working on a testing process. The files are stored in my linux server and there are plenty of files. so when i run ls command, it takes a lot of time for me to find a file that was created on the particular date. So is there any way to make this process easier where either the date is in asc order or we can find the files based on the date using find command?
