create a macro in vi file
In vi, how do I create a macro?
For example, I want to create a macro to join lines and insert ^ Please assist. Thanks! |

have a look here: Vi Cheat Sheet
Search for "key mapping" P.S. To join lines use a capital "J", no need for a macro. |
