Question Backup

I want to know how can i do a backup for two diferents subdirectories ?

For example

/home/data/test.txt

/public/now/real.txt

i know that i have to do the next....

pwd
/home/data

tar -cvt /dev/st0 ./*

with that i know that test.txt is going to go to the tape but i dont know how can i add the real.txt file in the same file....

In each subdirectorie i have more than one file....
