Question Connection between SCO & Windows

Hello,

I have 2 machines, the first one with Unix SCO 5 and the second one with Windows Me.
Until yesterday, network connections worked fine, but this morning the connection died. Ping did not work anymore.
With a great effort I could setup a new NIC 8139 (the "broken" one was a NE2000 compatible), and got a ping reply between both machines. The problems came with things different from ping: neither ftp nor telnet worked anymore. I get instead, in the Windows machine, errors like: INCOMPATIBLE ADDRESS FAMILY, SOCKET ERROR, etc.
Locally, in the SCO machine I can use the telnet and ftp clients without problems.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks in advance
