Here is the deal, I am good with html and java and am creating a website for my brother. On this site he has chosen to use a ikonboard.com discussion board. I have done everything I can to pull it off, but no can do. Here is the problem:
The site is being created using the angelfire webshell. The discussion board instructions ask me to set the CHMOD to 0777. Now I have been able to figure out anything I have set my mind to doing for this site accept this. I have no idea what to do with myself because I have never used unix, just html, java, and other common languages. If someone would please steer me in the right direction I would be forever thankful. Bottom line is, I need to know how to change the mode and that is all! So take pity on an inexperienced unixer and help a brotha out. thank you for any help. -Brian |
