Thumbs up making a web page
Hey im new to unix!
I am tryin to create a web page in unix and have done it all but when i try and load it it says permission denied!?>
i have chmod a+rx for folder and file to make sure but still permissions wont let me?!

any ideas can anyone do a quick run through of how to make a web page using vi in unix??

i got exam on this stuff in 2 days so id love ne one who couldhelp explain and give me an example ahahah

No, that would be breaking the rules (especially since you are in school).

Suggest you look at Apache FAQ for permissions. Realize the top directory (according to the web server) down to your page needs to be 'seen'.

im at uni man i cant fail this subject again!!
ive read so much stuff and ive tried so many times im not tryin to bludge i just cant find how to do it can u show how u do it and ill look at steps and see if im doin somethign wrong??
or anyone?
