XWindow problems
ok, i've got a FreeBSD box, and it doesn't like my monitor. At all. The first time i installed BSD, it wouldn't write the changes. I reformated and reinstalled, and this time it would write, but when i went to load the x server with startx it would go through the load process, but say "no screens" after I had double checked all the configurations.
Now, the monitor is circa 1993, but i figured that wouldn't be a problem, it works fine when i'm running windows on the same computer, even if it is squashed onto 640x480 resolution. Now what settings do i have to change to get it to work? |
