.profile
Once I logged into the Unix Box the .profile does not work I need to enter .profile after I get the prompt to make it work.
Could anyone give me an idea why it is happening like this. All your suggestions are greatly appreciated. |

Sun Solaris and k Shell. When I try to login from Exceed it does not the .Profile File I need to say .profile in order to start up.. My other colleagues over here when they log in the .profile starts up immd..
