How can I suppress the 0a (line feed) in a text file (HP UX)

Are you trying to go from windows->HP-UX (actually, I suppose it would be the other way around)? If so, look for the unix2dos utility, and it counterpart, dos2unix. You can find versions here:
http://sunsite.doc.ic.ac.uk/packages...2.2.lnx.tar.gz and http://sunsite.doc.ic.ac.uk/packages...nix-3.0.tar.gz If you want to read a little more about them, change the .tar.gz extensions on the links above to .lsm... HTH |
