What is the equivalent of /etc/rc.local in Solaris 10?

There is not an equivalent. In Solaris 10, the svc.startd daemon replaced the init process as the master process starter.

I just want to invoke the command "umount /hgfs" at system startup in Solaris 10 x86. How can i do that? In Redhat Linux i would simply place the command in the /etc/rc.local file.

If you want to umount /hgfs at startup, why are you mounting it in the first place?

I am running Solaris 10 in Vmware 7. hgfs stands for host guest file system. There is no entry for mounting /hgfs in /etc/vfstab,yet it is mounted automatically on system reboot. That is why i want to umount it on system startup. Help in this regard will be highly appreciated. Thanks.
