finding the "pipe" on the keyboard
hi, i am new to UNIX and im reading up on it and in this book it talks about this pipe which is a straight up and down line however i can't find it? it talks about it being by my keyboard. does anyone know where it might be?

....well guy, take a close look at the \ key. do you see the straight up and down line right above it? the \ (back slash) will be near your backspace key. pressing shift + \ will result in | being printed.
