Solaris 2.8 and Solaris 8 is the same product with two different names ... You can name each version of Solaris different: SunOS 5.5 -> Solaris 2.5 SunOS 5.6 -> Solaris 2.6 SunOS 5.7 -> Solaris 2.7 -> Solaris 7 SunOS 5.8 -> Solaris 2.8 -> Solaris 8 They just saved the "2." in the last two versions |
