Question Cannot open "/dev/tty"

Hi,
When it proccesing the backup with cpio report this message: Cannot open "/dev/tty" and cancel de backup.

Cuando se procesa la tarea del backup reporta el error: Cannot open "/dev/tty" y cancela el backup y no termina correctamente, a que se devera esta advertencia.

My english is bad.
When the task of the backup is processed it reports the error: Cannot open " /dev/tty " and it cancels the backup and it doesn't finish correctly to that it will should this warning.

We use a backup script using cpio, and get this error during if an I/O error occurs....

Seems to happen without any rhyme nor reason though
