Question Regarding Printers

I havve a printer directly connected to the network point with no host computer . Can this printer be configured on a Unix machine .

Yes, UNIX can interoperate with network printers. Some are much easier to configure than others

Can You give me some tips . Actually in Windows its easy since its icon comes on the Add n/w printers But in Unix I have no idea how should i call it .
