Question creating virtual ip addresses

i am running solaris 9 i now how to create virtual ip address but how do i keep them so when the server reboots they are still there?...THANX

you have to touch an /etc/hostname.interface like /etc/hostname.hme0:1. put the ip into it...

1) put a hostname in your hosts file.
2) put a hostname in /etc/hostname.hme0:1
3) plumb the new interface
4) assign it an IP and bring the interface up.
