Add a new host to a primary server

Hi,

I need to add a new host to a primary dns. what i need to add or change?

I know i dont need to do nothing in named.conf and in the /etc/hosts.

bind comes with 'rndc' utility, check the man pages, I guess you should invoke it with 'refresh' argument.
But this is general advice, as I'm neither sure what have you done exactly onto your system, nor what software and versions you're running.

But I just want add a new host to the primary dns, not a new dns.

This way is possible:
nslookup "PrimaryDNS" "newhost"

and then restart the daemon?
