questions

Dear Guys ,

I have some Questions , i need to have answeres for .

1. now if i took a back up for /etc/passwd and /etc/shadow , like simple copy .. and Install a new system , and paste those two files to the new system ... are the passwords and user info. going to work ?? is it posibble ?

2. I have Sun Solaries 7 , and i have sendmail 8.9.3 ,, all users mail boxes are unlimited , i mean no quot .. how can i quot the mail boxes sizes to 20MB for example ?? is it from conf. file ? or i need to install new packages ?
