Help with absolute path and relative path

I'm having problems accessing the Knoppix software on my current computer and the replacement CD I ordered hasn't arrived yet.

I have a guess at what the answer would be for this question but I am not sure as I cannot test it with the software.

I have to create a directory called class, and inside it create a paths.txt with the absolute and relative path.

My question is would it be:

absolute path: /class/paths

relative path: ./paths

This is my guess and if there is anything missing or if I'm wrong, please let me know.

Absolute path---> The entire path name starting from root(/)
Ex:/home/unix/dir1

Code:

Relative path---> The path relative to your current working directory.
Ex:unix/dir1

.. -----> represents parent directory

. -----> represents current working directory.
