Eh...I spent a day which I installed Ubuntu Hardy (only because of the lack of customizations need to make it work properly in which Debian needs) and install various DE's. I installed xfce, fluxbox, blackbox, wmaker, ude, and one other I can't remember (I deleted the partition off my desktop since it was for a one-time only purpose). I gave up on the panelidea. But I love the setup of fluxbox and wmaker. I think I had wmaker have the min. programs end up in boxes on the desktop instead of in a panel. With a little modding, I could have them up to what I want.
