Accounting Software

GNUCash -

There is documented problem with auto-fill; ie, that it cannot be turned off. It will delete 1/2 of a transaction. I have searched the internet and have not been able to make any of the "work arounds" work. I have also contacted the email lists, to no avail. This is open source, written in C. If anyone has any ideas or a patch it would be deeply appreciated.

KMyMoney

I cannot enter a transaction. Again searched the internet and mailing lists.

TIA

Sorry for pushing this, but I am working on a Point Of Sale program, and this bug prevents me from doing financial projections. I can't start until these projections are positive.

Thanks.

Al tho i do not have experience with gnucash, would start by looking at my version used, followed by a closer look at github project in search for bugs and patches.

First thing you need to do is get updated to recent version.
After that, check out if you are exhibiting the same bug. If so, report the bug to the creators of software and hope for a quick response/patch/workaround.

Hope that helps

Peasant.

Thanks.

Version 2.6.4, which I think is the latest according to GitHub.

GitHub does not show any bugs, as far as I can see.
