fix broken avi index

I need some recommendations on programs to fix broken avi index. Please tell me what your experiences have been with the program. Which programs work and which ones don't work.

avidemux can sometimes detect problems with a file on open and ask to correct them. It also has tools -> "rebuild I & B frames" option which may be close to what you want.
